1957 Plymouth 9 passenger Sport Suburban
Looks pretty beat up.
looks pretty close to the same. Woodward avenue & Jefferson, detroit mi.
1959 Mercury Commuter in the background!!
The kids looks like she's thinking if ya think this car sucks ya should see the house
Check this out, the car on the bottom I think is the same wagon, maybe this old wagon pictured here founds its final home in this wrecking yard. http://www.oldride.com/community/galleries/982885683.html
The empty space behind the rear wheel is the "door" behind which the spare tire was kept (only on 4 dr wagons). This one had the optional bumpers too. Rocker panels always disappeared.
It might be just the pic....but the rt side lower rockerpanel looks either very dirty or even rusted out.
I just realised those tail light look just like the ones used on the infamouse bat mobile
From the looks of it that car wasn't much more than 6 or 7 years old even rusting away it has a great deal of class
We had a 56 Chrysler wagon at that time and the little urchin hanging out the back window was about my age. We were in Massachusetts and the Chrysler was also a rust bucket. I'm in Colorado now, much friendlier climate for old iron.
nice SUV
you got that right
it must have spent its life on the salt streets of MICHIGAN
thats the last the plymouth thinks about going offroading....haha
I'd hate to see what it looks like now!
some one sure beat that up.look at the front wheel how its tipped inward.worn shock mabey? looks like someone snapped this pic from in thare car.
