Chevrolet Pickup - Possibly a Spirit of America
The white truck is worth saving!
chevyrocksfordsucs? Oh you are a kid.. OK! This is a place for everyone to enjoy any rusty old car. I am ford at heart but would never put anything else down. All pre 1976 vehicles are works of art! You will understand one day.
The "Spirit of America" was a factory option in '74. I know it was also put on the Impala's but I think it was on most of Chevy's line-up for that year. One big reason you really only see it on the Nova's and Vega's is because of the oil embargo that was going on... Some of GM's other divisions also did a "Spirit of America" edition in that era... BTW, the truck in front of the "Spirit of America" is a '54 - '55 1st Chevy/GMC... The cab/door lines, wing windows and the flat topped bed rails give it away.
I've just done a search for "Spirit of America", NO trucks, just 1974 NOVA's & VEGA's is all I could find. they had small red and blue stips over white paint(no stars)and solid white int. this truck is mid 70's so it could the correct year (1974) maybe the stips are dealer opt. not factory??
id like those trucks in front of it and to the side i need cheap 51 parts any one

Wow! i know a lady who drives a very nice one, with those same stripes and stars. I thought she added them, but know I know chevy made this model!
I have a 74 C-10 we tow our travel trailer with.I put in an overbored 350 with headers, old Holley single plane manifold ($25 at the flea market) and Edelbrock 600 carb. Strong runner, great old truck.
what year is this? I have a truck about like this. mine is a tan (soon to ve red) 1973 chevy. it used to be my grandpa's untill he gave it to me for my 14th birthday. im in the process of restoreing it.
it would be neat to restore if they did
I've built the 1974 C-10 like this one into a rat / rebel rod. C notched rear frame, back lowered 8 inches, put air bags in front 6 inches lower, rattle can black with rattle can "sublime" (green glo) scallops. Original steel wheels painted to match. Homebuilt side pipes with stacks made from a fence post. Something different to supplement the Plymouth without spending a ton of cash. Some folks don't like it but cool people do.
