Abandoned and Forgotten
Saw a bunch of Cars in a yard on Google Earth in my area, finally found the Guy who owned them He scrapped most with the high scrap prices, about 180 cars, all Studes, hoarded them too long so all rotted away...talked to him for a while.
Looks like an old school bus further back as well
I meant Lazy-boy. for some reason, the "-boy" didn't register.
I want a schoolbus. They make great pre-fab DIY bomb shelters, or you can turn one into a custom RV with your choice of furniture (like a Lazy recliner)
the bus wasn't that old maybe 80s
old school buses are rwesome.Anybody ever heard of GILLIG?
I never figured out why people bought old school buses. They can be scrapped or used for storage, but just sitting doesn't make sense. Then again, letting a 2 dr. 56 Ford sit in the woods makes no sense either.
Is the picked over FDS a 37or38 Chevy?
My first car in 1962 at 16 was a 1956 Ford SunLinner.Every young guy should have one rag top.Allso had a 57 Chevy ragtop at age 19. I
hey, nice green 56 customline 2-door sedan.that would be my pick.just might have enough parts around to put it back together!
29trkguy,that is a nightmare what you just said. shame, shame, shame, shame. people just dont understand the value of these cars like us carguys.
