1954 Dodge Pick-up Truck
nice yard ornament
That's not an 8 foot bed, that's a flower bed.
"the 54 that i had was a bit different.5 window cab," True.....but that would indicate a US built truck. Canadian Dodge and Fargo trucks of that era never had those corner side windows. When you did see a FIVE WINDOW up here, it caught your attention immediately as something different.
the 1952 dodge 1/2 ton that my father inlaw had was a flat 6 rated at 85hp.the 54 that i had was a bit different.5 window cab,413eng.& a push button torqueflite tran.boy i miss my rides.
How much "Horseflower" does the motor put out....?....lol.
please tell me your going to restore her.
"If it where a Canadian Truck, that would be a Fargo." Not quite, we had both dodge and Fargo trucks until 1972. http://www.allpar.com/old/fargo.html
This is a 1953 B4B 1/2 Ton Pilot House Dodge. If it where a Canadian Truck, that would be a Fargo. 53 was the last year of the B series trucks, and the only year with those fenders. Hope this helps. Dutch
Hello all! If that IS a Canadian Dodge......... the rear fenders are'54, but the truck is a '53. 1948 to '53 look the same except for grille changes. Those rear fenders were used "late '53 to 1985, the last year you could order a UTILINE box" Do a Google "image" search if you want to see a 1954 style, they look similar to a 1955.
Looks like a 51, this model was called a pilot house cab.
Its not a 54. I have one. I think that the last year for the split windshield was 53.
That's too sad! fix it! don't plant things in it!
Could be 53 or 4 I thint split windshield left in 55.
we pulled 2 of these of the Astor estate a few months ago.i wish we got the pics.a tree was growing out the bumper of one

first year for those rear fenders and last year for split windshield
i cant see corner cab corner windows at all. the dodge name plate above the grill is spaced apart to make the truck look wider, unique only to 1953. wished it were mine!
