This stunning 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door is finished in two-tone Red and Black that were carefully selected to complement each other. The chrome and brightwork are in superb condition and glisten next to the mirror gloss paint finish. Inside, the interior has been completely restored and updated with very comfortable Red and Black upholstery with an attractive pattern. The interior features a bench seat and a floor shifter. Additionally, this Bel Air has a custom small diameter steering wheel that cleverly resembles the original, a set of Stewart-Warner gauges mounted below the dash housed in a retro style bezel and a retro style modern radio. A cold Old Air brand air conditioning system adds to the comfort of this very nicely appointed cabin. The trunk compartment is also trimmed to match the interior. The retro-cool look is completed with a set of 15-inch American Racing wheels wrapped with 225/70R15 Toyo white wall tires.
Lifting the hood reveals a healthy rebuilt 327 cubic inch, 300 horsepower Corvette motor mated to a 4-speed transmission sitting in a clean engine bay. The engine features a Holley manifold fitted with a Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor topped with a vintage Cadillac style air cleaner, a polished alternator, Optima Red Top battery, polished air conditioning compressor, chrome master cylinder, finned aluminum valve covers, aluminum radiator with electric fan and a deep-sounding dual exhaust system. Power front disc brakes enhance the ease of operation of this classic Chevy.
