DESCRIPTION
This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is a two-door sport coupe that was refurbished and modified under previous ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in August 2022. The car is powered by a 383ci V8 linked to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential, and it is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery. Modifications include a Demon carburetor, MSD ignition, a custom dual-exhaust system, electronic exhaust cutouts, an aftermarket fuel system, front disc brakes, power steering, 15 Weld Racing wheels, CalTracs traction bars, AutoMeter instrumentation, a B&M Pro Stick shifter, and an aftermarket sound system. This modified Nova is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, parts manuals, and a clean title. The car left the factory finished in Artesian Turquoise (KK) and has been refinished in red. Equipment includes an aluminum grille, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, Super Sport badging, and bright trim. Blemishes around the exterior are shown up close in photos below. The majority of the gallery photos were taken in April 2023, and the car has traveled approximately 300 miles and been primarily garaged since according to the previous owner. The 15 Weld Racing wheels are mounted with 155-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires in front and 235/60 Goodyear Eagle GT II tires out back. The car is equipped with power steering and has been modified with front disc brakes, a front anti-roll bar, boxed lower control arms, subframe connectors, and CalTracs traction bars. The tires show date codes ranging from 2008 to 2010. The cabin features front bucket seats that were originally covered in Turquoise and have been reupholstered in black vinyl along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include a B&M Pro Stick shifter, a heater, quarter-vent windows, and an aftermarket sound system featuring a Clarion CD stereo. An aftermarket switch panel has been installed below the dash to the left of the steering column. A hole is present (easy fix) in the headliner above the front passenger seat. The tilting three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts AutoMeter Ultra-Lite instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 750 of which were added under previous ownership. Total mileage is unknown. A transmission cooler has been installed, the fuel tank has been modified with an aftermarket sump, and a custom dual-exhaust system featuring long tube headers, X-pipe, and electronically controlled cutouts have been fitted.
