DESCRIPTION
Sexy! Frame off restoration, Pro Touring build! It has all the features you like from houndstooth seats to fuel injection all bundled up in an RS-SS in bright red! It\'s totally done from the ground up to high quality standards using mostly new parts. Money can\'t buy love, but it can buy happiness, and this Camaro will prove it!
EXTERIOR: Killer colors! The PPG Torch Red paint job is beautifully laid out and polished to a smooth and glossy finish. Looking down the side of the laser straight body it has smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels are nicely aligned with good gaps. The cowl induction hood and spoilers really enhanced the profile nicely. It has hideaway headlights that were upgraded with a Detroit Speed electric conversion kit. It is fully dressed in SS trim and a hockey stick stripe. The front grill looks brand new, and all the chrome has a gleaming shine. The glass is nice and clear with new rubber seals and fuzzy strips too. It\'s sitting on a beautiful set of 18\" Intro V Rod billet wheels wrapped in Nitto performance radial tires that are size 255/45ZR18 in the rear.
INTERIOR: Loaded inside with factory features: deluxe interior with houndstooth, factory gauges, clock, tachometer, rosewood deluxe wheel on a tilt column and more. Beautifully refinished deluxe interior! Here are some of the things that were replaced: headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, gauge bezels, tilt column, steering wheel, door panels, center console, shifter, and carpet etc. All the seats were recovered in a striking white and black houndstooth. Inside the glove box is a touch screen control for the Holley Sniper fuel injection system. A USB jack/charger is concealed under the ashtray door. Upgraded Vintage Air electric slide heater controls. The Retrosound Hermosa stereo is Bluetooth ready and has a hands-free calling microphone mounted as well. A new American Auto wire harness was installed front to rear. The clock and all the interior lights are working too.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 355 cubic inch engine is handsomely dressed! The contrast between black and chrome is very appealing. Performance upgrades include a Holley sniper electronic fuel injection, Edelbrock intake manifold, Hooker headers, and a MSD distributor etc. Other upgrades incdude a new Wilwood master cylinder with proportioning valve and chrome booster, Concept One front runner system, polished power steering pump, chrome water pump, polished 200 amp alternator, and chrome Vintage Air A/C compressor also. A Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans maintains the temperature. The battery is properly secured, and the horns are hooked up. A set of Billet Specialties strut assisted hood hinges and support bars is a very high-end touch. Under the hood, fender wells, and firewall are all painted slick just like the body. Even the hood latch assembly is brand new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted body color. The compartment was dressed up with billet hinges. The weather strip and lock mechanism were replaced. Inside the trunk pan metal is all solid and rust free with a neatly applied textured paint.
UNDERSIDE: Quality frame off restoration! All the steering components were replaced including a new CPP close ratio steering gear box. The suspension was also highly upgraded with tubular upper and lower control arms plus QA1 adjustable coil overs up front and a sway bar too. The rear leaf springs and shocks look fresh. It has power disc brakes at all 4 wheels with Wilwood calipers and the e-brake is hooked up. It has a fresh exhaust system that includes long tube headers, o2 sensors, x-pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers. The gas tank was replaced with a Holley Sniper compatible unit and has new hanging straps too. The fuel pump was upgraded to an electric external unit. Looking up at the 355 engine it is clean and has a high torque starter. The built Turbo 350 transmission looks fresh, has a chrome pan and new mount, and is equipped with a 2500 stall converter. The 12 bolt Eaton posi rear end has a new cover/bolts and 3.55 gears. The floors are solid and rust free with beautiful black paint. The frame was also prepped and painted, and the body mount bushings were replaced too.
SERVICE: Our lead mechanic thoroughly inspected this car, and we repaired a couple of vacuum leaks, repaired the wipers, and adjusted a window. This car was very dialed in when we purchased it!
