EXTERIOR: One of the best-looking muscle cars ever! This one\'s equipped with a functioning hood scoop, optional hood tachometer, plus front and rear spoilers that really enhance the profile nicely. Dual sport mirrors are an additional bonus. The hood pins and side scoops make it look tougher. The blackout hood treatment is correctly painted. The front grill is spotless. All the chrome has been refinished with a beautiful shine. Looking down the side of the laser straight body it has smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels are wonderfully aligned with above average gaps. The paint has been laid out with great detail then polished to a smooth and reflective finish. The reflective side stripe adds the perfect pop of color. It\'s sitting on a beautiful set of Magnum 500 wheels with pony center caps. They are wrapped in fresh BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR: Everything has been beautifully refinished and looks virtually new! The rim blow steering wheel is so cool and works great. It has the deluxe interior including high back seats, molded door panels, wood grain trim and a center console. The knit vinyl bucket seats have been recovered and recushioned and are extremely comfortable. No details were overlooked, even the clock works. It has a digital radio that looks old school and fits in the factory hole. There are no cracks in the dash pad and the headliner does not sag. Even all the interior lights are working.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Date code correct SCJ 428 with the correct heads, intake, carb and distributor. The correct air cleaner is topped off with a totally cool and functional ram air shaker hood scoop. As part of the SCJ it has an external oil cooler. Everything looks fresh and it\'s equipped with power steering. The battery is properly secured and the squirters are hooked up. Nice and clean with a stock appearance, it even has reproduction hoses, clamps and dated plug wires. The underside of the hood is painted just like the body. The fender wells and firewall have been painted the correct satin black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is beautiful in here too. The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside is all solid clean metal painted body color with a rubber trunk mat. It also has a 5th matching BFG tire and Magnum wheel.
UNDERSIDE: Under this car is fresh. It looks like the front-end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. It has upgraded gas shocks front and back. New dual exhaust with a crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and correct Mach 1 tips going out through the valance. New fuel system including the tank and sending unit. The brakes have been rebuilt and the e-brake is hooked up. Peeking up at the motor it still looks brand new. It has a period correct heavy duty C-6 automatic trans. The Ford 9 inch rear end is new from Quick Performance. The floors are all clean metal painted satin black.
SERVICE: Our shop did their inspection and gave this fresh restoration it\'s shake down. We adjusted the needle and seat on the carb, replaced the neutral safety switch, replaced the wiper motor, and installed the arms. We also fixed the interior lights, tachometer, horns, driver\'s seat tracks, rear shock mount, installed sway bar bolts, and connected exhaust hangers.
This car literally has it all! The big engine, the stunning colors, and the breathtaking restoration. It\'s a true thoroughbred with a lengthy pedigree!
