DESCRIPTION
Nope, it\'s not a 340 under the hood! It\'s a 472 cubic inch crate Hemi producing a neck snapping 525 horsepower. Plus, it has A/C and power steering too. This car also received a detailed ground up restoration using mostly new parts. On top of the potent engine, it also has a highly upgraded suspension that puts the power to the pavement. No expense spared; everything is top quality!
EXTERIOR: Killer colors! The Jet Black paint was applied with expert precision then polished to a smooth and shiny finish. Seriously, I can shave in the reflection. The eye-popping red stripes work great with the redlines and red interior. Looking down the side of the 100% laser straight body it has smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been painstakingly aligned with consistent gaps that are just gorgeous. The doors operate so smoothly they virtually close themselves. It is equipped with dual chrome sport mirrors and the driver side has a remote toggle. All the chrome has been refinished and shines like jewelry. The front grille is in fantastic shape and the car was updated with LED headlights too. The glass is tinted giving it an even more sinister look. It\'s sitting on 15\" steel rims painted body color with new poverty hubcaps that even have a little red detail. It has radial redline tires, extra wide street slicks in back to help all that power grip the road. What a sexy car!
INTERIOR: Completely custom and comfortable! The bright red really pops off the Jet Black exterior. Almost everything has been replaced. New headliner, visors, door panels, carpeting, upholstery, gauges, gauge bezel, glove box liner, steering wheel, handles, and levers etc. It has a full set of gauges in the dash including a tachometer. The sport bucket seats also recline. The leather wrapped Tuff Grip steering wheel fits the hand perfectly. The modern Bluetooth capable touchscreen stereo is the centerpiece of the custom console. It also houses additional speakers, a Cheetah Turbo Action shifter, and a super practical armrest. The odometer reads 3,537 miles since completion.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow! A 472 cubic inch crate Hemi V8 crammed under the hood of this tiny car is purely insane. Oh, and they managed to fit air conditioning and power steering too. What an engineering marvel! The blacked-out air cleaner and valve covers make it look mean. Absolutely everything is like new. It\'s topped off with a Holley carb that has a fuel pressure regulator and Mopar Performance aluminum intake manifold. The radiator, master cylinder, wiper motor, and electronic ignition components are all fresh. The horns are hooked up and everything is nicely routed. The underside of the hood, fender wells and firewall are all painted Jet Black just like the body.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the wheel wells have been tubbed and neatly finished. The remaining trunk pan metal is all solid and rust free with nice black paint. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and is properly secured inside a battery box. The trunk light is also working.
UNDERSIDE: Fresh and full custom chassis! The steering system was upgraded to rack & pinion plus the gearbox and all other components were replaced. The front suspension now has tubular control arms, adjustable coil overs and a big fat sway bar. Counter sunk and welded in frame rails tie the front to the back and help prevent twisting. The rear suspension is also highly upgraded with a full Chassis works 4 link setup that includes aluminum trailing arms, adjustable coil overs and more. It has front disc brakes, and the e-brake is hooked up. The exhaust is highly upgraded with long tube headers, stainless steel tubes with x-pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and polished tips that exit under the rear bumper. The gas tank was replaced, and all new lines were run. Looking up at the 472 cubic inch Hemi engine it has an extra capacity oil pan and lots of other goodies. The 727 Torqueflite Automatic transmission also looks recently serviced with fresh linkage too. The power is transferred to a rebuilt 8 3/4\" Sure Grip rear end. The floors are solid and rust free with neatly applied black paint.
SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car, and we rewired the horn, adjusted the blower motor, installed an amp gauge, installed a floor light, installed a fender emblem, installed the side stripe, and installed poverty hubcaps.
This is an absolutely sinister car that Mopar themselves never produced. A 340 was the biggest motor available in this car. Mr Norm went as far as adding a 6 pack carb set up to the 340, but a Hemi?! That\'s a crazy thought that became a reality right here. It was built totally ri
