I was thinking of you when I bought this, it has what you want! Mustang buyers want the V8 with an automatic, air conditioning, power steering and brakes. This one raises the bar with pony interior, power top, and more. It even has 3 point retractable seatbelts added front and back for safety. It\'s very well restored and has a beautiful color combination too. I believe the metal is exceptionally clean top to bottom on this one.
EXTERIOR: Yes, it is a classy ride. The body is exceptional. It is straight with no rust or damage, and it fits really right. According to the tag it was repainted its original Emberglow Metallic color and it has a smooth and glossy finish. It looks like all of the chrome was replaced. It\'s dressed up nicely with optional remote mirror and the luggage rack. What really makes it pop are the sparkling chrome GT wheels with new dual redline reproduction tires. The white convertible top is in very nice shape and is effortless to operate, just hit the switch.
INTERIOR: Inside is just as impressive. You gotta have the deluxe pony interior and that\'s what this one has. It\'s in great shape and includes the molded door panels with \"knife\" handle door release, upgraded upholstery with ponys, a center console, wood grain trim and the deluxe wheel. This one has also been upgraded with a retro stereo, embroidered mats and a/c vents neatly installed under the dash. The 3 point retractable seatbelts front and back are a huge selling point, especially if you have a wife and kids!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is detailed very nice. At the heart of it is a smooth running 289 V8 restored to stock condition. It has very desirable power steering and brakes. The air conditioning is a new modern system that is sure to keep you comfortable. Upgraded with an aluminum radiator and electric fan to keep the engine cool. All the components look fresh and proper. The metal is exceptionally clean and painted nicely.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick. Inside is clean metal and painted nicely. It has reproduction mat, weatherstrip, decals and well liner. Complete with a jack, restored rim, and never used reproduction tire for a spare.
UNDERSIDE: The front steering and suspension looks like it\'s all new. In back it has new shocks. The new custom dual exhaust has mufflers, resonators and the tail pipes are neatly tucked up out of site. The brakes are working great, the e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is fresh Ford blue, the fuel pump looks new. The C-4 automatic transmission looks fresh too. The floors, torque boxes, frame rails are dry, clean metal painted black.
SERVICE: After our inspection we replaced the a/c compressor, recharged the system, repaired the reverse lights, replaced woodgrain trim, installed a new idler arm and the adjusted driver\'s window
