DESCRIPTION

There is nothing quite like an old Ford hotrod, and this old-school 1930 Ford Model A Hotrod is an excellent example of what a traditional hotrod should look like. No hood, no fenders and painted black with flames, this nostalgic coupe features a \'32 Ford radiator shell, drilled visor, chromed suspension and a set of American Racing Torq Thrust wheels sized 14-inches in the front and 15-inches in the rear with tires staggered 175/65R14 in the front and big 235/75-15 tires in rear for the perfect hotrod stance.

454 Big Block built to 468

Richmond Super T-10 4-speed manual transmission

9-inch Currie rear end

Front disc brakes

Side pipes

American Racing Torq Thrust wheels

Roll bar

Edelbrock intake manifold

Holley carburetor

Interior on this hot rod is nicely done and very purposeful with twin bucket racing seats with JAZ racing seat belts, Hurst shifter, removable chrome steering wheel, center console switch panel for ignition, carpeted door panels and headliner with the rest of the cab done in the same material. An integrated roll bar reaches into the back of the cockpit behind the seats. The dash has a cool engine-turned finish with Auto Meter gauges for speedometer, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel and voltage. Additionally, there are door mounted switches for power windows and a dash mounted tachometer.

The engine is a Chevy 454 Big Block that has been built up to a 468, tricked out with an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a K&N air filter and M/T finned aluminum valve covers. The engine breathes out through Patriot tube headers into rumbling chrome side pipes that sound awesome. Power is sent to a Currie 9-inch rear end via a Richmond Super T-10 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and Lakewood scatter shield bellhousing. The chromed suspension set up is a solid I-beam with coil-overs in the front and a four-link with coil-overs in the rear. Front disc brakes help keep this powerful coupe under control when needed.
