The fourth generation of Chevrolet\'s legendary Camaro Z28 was introduced in 1993. This sporty, low-mileage 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible illustrates why these 1993-2002 fourth-generation Camaros were so popular when new and remain so today. New dual catalytic converters for 1996 models added ten horsepower to the 5.7-litre V8, bringing the total up to 285 horsepower. Of the 17,844 Z28s produced for the 1996 model year, only 2,938 were convertibles.
