DESCRIPTION

Sizzle, this car has it! With over 500 horsepower, a 5-speed manual, and 3.73 posi you ought to have some fun. Just sitting parked it\'s going to grab attention with its House of Kolor Purple Haze paint and GSX package. But there is a lot more to it than just horsepower and good looks. With ice cold a/c, cool gauges to look at, plus upgraded 4 wheel disc brakes it will be a pleasure to drive as well.

EXTERIOR: Shiny and glossy! The House of Kolor Purple Haze paint was laid out with great attention to detail then polished to a reflective finish. All the striping was painted on underneath the clear coat and is virtually smooth to the touch. Looking down the side of the body it is nice and straight. All the panels are well aligned with good gaps. The long heavy doors close easily with minimal effort. The canvas power convertible top was custom dyed in England then sent to America to be cut and installed. All the glass is nice and clear with new rubber seals. The front and rear spoilers really enhance the profile and the hood mounted tachometer is one of my favorite options ever on a car. It has a GS grill. it\'s in great shape. All the trim and bumpers have a nice shine. It is sitting on American Racing 17\" Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich G Force Comp 2 performance tires that are fatter in the rear.

INTERIOR: Nearly everything has been done and looks great! The seats have been reupholstered and the door panels match. It has a remote mirror on the driver\'s side. The dash pad was replaced, and the gauges were upgraded with very easy to read digital/analog units. The climate control panel and wiper knobs appear to be original. The radio was upgraded to a modern Retro stereo with Bluetooth and hands-free calling by Retrosound. Dual cup holders were neatly mounted where the ashtray used to be. There\'s a very nice Hurst 5 speed manual shifter peeking out between the seats. The carpeting was replaced. It has a GSX steering wheel on a tilt column. The interior lights are also working.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 455 V8 was given a performance build and dyno tuned at 510 horsepower and 600 ft lbs of torque! It features Edelbrock aluminum heads, an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, and MSD ignition system. It also has the factory ram air system feeding fresh air to this torque monster. All the components were replaced at time of restoration. The a/c system was rebuilt and blows ice cold. The engine stays cool with an aluminum water pump and radiator, dual electric fans, and an overflow bottle. Wiper motor was replaced and the squirters are hooked up. The power steering and chrome alternator were replaced. The master cylinder with a cadmium plated booster were installed. It\'s cleaned and painted nicely. The motor wears a very cool set of cast aluminum valve covers.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the trunk is completely finished and carpeted. It also has a Sound Ordinance powered sub-woofer.

UNDERSIDE: At the time of restoration the steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. It has an upgraded sway bar in front and the additional sway bar in back. It also has air shocks that are painted purple. The brake system was completely redone and upgraded to disc at all four wheels. It has purple calipers, and the e-brake is hooked up. The dual exhaust system sounds great with some Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was also replaced. Looking up at the motor it is still very clean, and the starter looks fresh. The transmission is upgraded with a Tremec TKX manual 5 speed. The drive shaft was rebuilt and the posi rear end has 3.73 gears with an aluminum cover. The floors appear to be extra clean and are neatly painted black.

SERVICE: After our thorough inspection we replaced the fuel pressure gauge, repaired a vacuum leak, repaired left front turn signal, installed the correct shifter boot, and replaced the lock cylinders.

With a performance built 455 and killer paint job! This GSX tribute has the go to match the show! Only thing left to do is drop the top and cruise!
