DESCRIPTION

1st gen GAS engine, automatic but 4x4. Full bed, not extended cab. No power windows or tilting steering wheel by option at purchase. Everything works aside from the gas gauge and the ac needs recharge.

Just drove this 31 year old classic from Utah to San Antonio. Traversed 4 states, up and down full blown mountains peaking at 7.3k feet elevation. This truck is a beast and was used for rock hounding by the original owner. There are 2 previous owners, I have signed the title but decided to see if I can sell it, and not waste the title and registration fees. Also reduces the amount of previous owners in the system, always good for resale purposes.

I am a retired diesel mechanic, Army trained and then continued civilian side. Cummins, paccar and Mercedes certified, to name a few. I am currently working on the heater core/ AC vacuum lines but everything works, everything original, compressor engages, air flows (working on dash vent flow, hence the vacuum lines), original cassette (2nd generation system), original speakers work just fine as well, cigarette lighter and all. The only issues I have not gotten to is the fuel gauge not showing fuel level and the tailpipe fell off on one of those bumpy mountain roads (it's in the bed of the truck though). All manufacturer wiring harness are impeccable, has a rugged and unique hard shell camper topper, with storage rails up top (it has one broken window) and a chrome cattle guard.

There were clearly cb/ham radio, tow hitch system and on off switch that were installed aftermarket.. All have been removed and there are sadly drill holes where they installed them into the cigarette lighter and ashtray. But if you want to add those things back in, you got the spots already there for ya. It has 3 hitches on the back, a pigtail for trailers and all.

This is a surprisingly well maintained truck, for its age and usage. The longer I have it, the closer to refurbished it gets but also the higher the total cost will be. We got a small list of issues before it hits $40k easily, without the camper top and cattle guard... tires also have excellent tread left. Let me know what questions you got. Also has a current texas inspection, insured as well. Just thought I'd see about selling it before adding a name to the title.

AS IS sales, No trades, no delivery, the thing is fully operational so you don't need a trailer and price isn't firm but NO BS OFFERS... will provide bill of sale and copies of drivers license for each party at time of signing. Any test drive will be done by myself, you can come with. Super simple folks, the way it should be. And yes, I am a woman, not a man and I am a mechanic. My dad speaks Spanish but is not the owner or seller, just really helps when needing a translator. I hope that clears up some confusion. No, I won't take the camper off either. It's not restored, it's mostly refurbished though. Huge difference in terminology there. But again. Original parts... they work.
