19th Annual GM-Powered Show n' Shine Car Show

GM St. Catharines is revving up for the 19th annual Show n’ Shine car show taking place on Friday, August 4th at McKinnon Park here in St. Catharines.



As the largest GM-powered car show in Canada, the event garners huge crowds on the 20 acres around GM St. Catharines, and pulls in visitors from all over Ontario, Ohio and New York State.



Over 230 vehicles have registered so far, ranging from the 1932 Chevrolet Coupe to the 2017 Camaro SS, and everything in-between.



The Show n’ Shine also features a variety of vendors and displays, food available for purchase by Rosalie’s Fine Food, and a $500 draw run by the United Way of St. Catharines & District for their Backpacks for Kids program.



One of the featured vendors appearing at the Show n’ Shine are The Dynocologists, whose custom tuning and on-the-spot performance evaluations can relate valuable information about a vehicle’s hidden performance, fuel efficiency and overall drivability.



Those wishing to display their GM-powered vehicle at the car show are encouraged to register in advance at www.gmstcatharines.ca/shownshine. A $5 entry fee will be collected upon arrival; spectator admission is FREE and does not require registration.



Day-of registration begins at 7:00 AM with awards presented at 1:00 PM. Designations include 24 “Best of Show” categories, such as Best of Show – Vintage and Best of Show – Most Radical, as well as three “People’s Choice” awards and the coveted “Plant Manager’s Choice – Best of Show”.
