This tiny kitten is Melvin, a brave 6-week-old who has already endured more medical challenges than an average cat will face in their lifetime born with pneumonia then at 3 weeks old however the pneumonia returned and Melvin ended up hospitalized for nearly a week. That's when an X-ray of his chest trying to figure out why he still had trouble breathing led to a diagnosis - pectus excavatem. Pectus excavatem is a serious condition where the ribs and sternum grow inwards, forming a dent in the chest. This deformity is why Melvin is still having difficulty breathing and can only eat small meals We are Sending Spay and Stay $500 Now to get him closer to Surgery
