The F-Type is powered by a 3.0L DOHC 24-valve supercharged/intercooled
V8 that utilizes an aluminum block/heads and direct injection. It outputs a silky-smooth 380bhp/340lb-ft delivered through a ZF-built six-speed manual gearbox to a limited-slip rear differential. (The six-speed version was very rare - it was reported that overall, about 4% of the 2016-2019 models were equipped with the manual transmission.) The chassis is equipped with electrically-boosted power steering, power-assisted ABS disc brakes w/brake assist and adaptive suspension w/stability control.
