DESCRIPTION

2006 Nissan 350Z Coupe

For consignment, a 2006 Nissan 350Z coupe with a title verified 34,326 actual miles and a plethora of go fast items that result in a 448 horsepower dyno pull with 9 pounds of boost. Oh yes, this is not your average commuter 350Z and this one has always been garage kept.

Note: Due to modifications of the emissions control devices installed by the manufacturer, please check your local, state, and federal laws to determine if this vehicle is applicable for use on public highways in your area

Exterior
This car is a vision in Daytona Blue Metallic two stage paint and black 19-inch Volk GT-S racing wheels opening up to bright red calipers that pick up the taillights which ride the rising corner of the hatch. And speaking of tail, the rear of the car is distinctly round with a large rear valance that houses narrow reverse lights and the license plate box, all over a pair of large exhaust tips. A wing rides well inside the flared fenders and a sloping rear window works its way up to the rounded roof then down onto the steeply raked windshield. Flared fenders also live up front and the width is enhanced by vertical marker lights that flank a gaping, low grille below flush mounted headlights that are essentially aerodynamic elements of the long hood. The 350\'s door handles are unique vertical units that resemble billet aluminum and its smooth design and engraved squares show up in other places on the car. The paint looks great on the car with minor imperfections that include a trip on the hood and scuffs on the bottom of the chin spoiler.

Interior
Standard door panels on the car are dressed in black and are distinctly different from the factory in that the passenger has a door pull that matches the outside handle and this piece is missing from the driver\'s side. We put our crack team of investigators on the case, Google & Google, and one school of thought blames the steering wheel position for the missing handle, while the consensus is more about where the driver\'s hands are supposed to be when driving. Anyway, sport bucket seats are covered in black leather and have aggressive lateral and bolster support. A race car like cockpit continues with a thick steering wheel contoured to the hand and a triple gauge cluster in the pilot\'s sightline, three more on the top of the center stack canted towards the drive, and a pair of A-pillar AEM gauges for air/fuel ratio and boost. The remainder of the center stack is standard 350 here with an AM/FM/CD radio and large A/C knobs. Another digital PSI gauge is mounted to the back wall of the center storage bin while an AccuAir Switch Speed controller is wired near the center console and allows manual control of the air springs. An ergonomic stout shifter sits in the center console and low pile black carpet covers the floor while a thick pile fitted mat covers the cargo area which also houses a strut brace.

Drivetrain
The engine bay is a busy place but also clean. It\'s where we find the 3.5 liter DOHC V6 with some additions including a Momentum turbo kit with a GT35R turbo, a Motordyne MREV lower plenum and spacer, a Walbro fuel pump, and Deatschwerks 650cc injectors. The 6-speed manual transmission includes an upgraded Southbend clutch and flywheel, Wilwood clutch master cylinder, and an RJM upgraded clutch pedal. Power is sent to the rear wheels with 3.54 gears and covered with a Nismo differential cover. Power disc brakes are Brembos with StopTech stainless brake lines.

Undercarriage
The great looking underbelly of the car is very clean with no leaks, no grease, and no surface rust to speak of. The single exhaust is lacking a catalytic converter and includes a Motordyne exhaust with a muffler that sends two pipes rearward for a short trip to large chrome tips. The AccuAir air management system operates air struts in the front and airbags in the back.

Drive-Ability
These later Z\'s are known for their interiors that envelope you. You sit deep in the car and all controls are within easy reach. They\'re also known for being comfortable enough for daily use and just powerful enough for fun. This one takes it to the next level with some healthy acceleration, improved handling, and sick stopping capabilities. It also sounds a bit better than stock. Visibility is what you\'d expect with the sloping hatch area and side mirrors come in handy. All functions, including the myriad of gauges, function as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

The flashy color, black wheels, bright calipers, and tunnel sized exhaust tips do a bit to give this car away. Otherwise you\'d have no idea this car is just shy of 500 horsepower. Merely by their somewhat exotic shape alone, 350Z\'s are unique, special, and in some configurations, very colle
